Sunset Sail on the Schooner Madeleine – Between 1 ½ & 2 hours in length depending on time of season. Enjoy complimentary champagne and beer while basking in the warm glow of a beautiful sunset on Narragansett Bay.

Madeleine is a traditional Bermuda rig schooner specifically designed and built to carry passengers safely through local waters. Coast Guard inspected annually, Madeleine is the perfect choice for a great sailing experience. Sunset sails offer complimentary champagne, beer, bottled water and soft drinks. You will sail by many historical points of interest along the waterfront including a number of estates, islands and lighthouses. For your convenience, a restroom is available onboard. Keep in mind that weather conditions can change rapidly, and that temperatures are lower on the water than on land. Please dress accordingly. While Madeleine’s sunset sail is probably the most popular sail that we do, it’s also the coolest trip we do. We recommend a sweater during the summer months and a jacket in spring and fall. Reservations highly suggested ahead as this trip will sell out most evening throughout the summer

Rum Runner II East Passage Express:

Rumrunner II’s East Passage Express - a great cruise to get a good general overview of Newport’s waterfront and a lot of history on many of the points of interest along Newport’s waterfront. Rum Runner II was built in the 1920s as an original rum smuggler during the height of prohibition. While back in the 1930s she was outrunning the Coast Guard, today she is a Coast Guard inspected vessel that will take you on a safe and scenic passage through the Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. The East Passage Express is approximately 75 minutes in length and includes a formally narrated tour as well as complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. We’ll take you up close along the shoreline for some breathtaking views of a number of estates, Fort Adams and some of the largest private yachts that make Newport their summer port of call. This cruise gives you a great overview of Newport’s waterfront and what makes our city by the sea one of the premier boating capitals of the world. For your convenience, a restroom is available onboard. Keep in mind that weather conditions can change rapidly, and that temperatures are lower on water than on land. Please dress accordingly. Sunscreen and a hat are suggested when sitting on deck. Don’t forget to bring a camera! If you want to be guaranteed a seat on board, please reserve ahead - particularly on weekends.

Scenic Day Sail aboard the Schooner Madeleine

Approximately 90 minute sail aboard the 72 foot schooner Madeleine through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Madeleine is a traditional Bermuda rig schooner specifically designed and built to carry passengers easily and safely through local waters. Coast Guard inspected annually, Madeleine is the perfect choice for a great sailing experience on the bay. Our crew will show you many historical points of interest along the waterfront including a number of estates, islands and lighthouses. For your convenience, a restroom is available onboard. All sails offer complimentary bottled water on board.   
Keep in mind that weather conditions can change rapidly, and that temperatures are lower on the water than on land. Please dress for an outdoor activity based on the weather.  Madeleine is the oldest operating and most popular sailing vessel open to the public in Newport. Reservations are highly suggested, particularly on weekends throughout the summer months.   Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a camera and your sense of adventure for a fun sailing expedrience.

Rum Runner II Smugglers Cocktail Cruise:

Runner II’s Smugglers Cocktail Cruise - we’ll take you on a leisurely 60-minute cruise along the water font in Newport Harbor and then we’ll pick up the speed out on the bay and work our way down the coastline to Castle Hill at the entrance into Narragansett Bay. Our Smugglers Cocktail Cruise allows you to relax, enjoy complimentary rum punch, beer, bottled water or ice tea, listen to music and enjoys the sights and sounds of the waterfront. While this trip is extremely scenic, this is not a formally narrated tour like The East Passage Express.

Coast Guard inspected annually, Rum Runner II will keep you safe and sound while taking you on one of the most scenic cruises in New England. Do keep in mind that weather conditions can change rapidly, and that temperatures are lower on water than on land. Please dress accordingly.
